MEET THE TRAINER: LARRY JOHNSON

Larry Johnson brings over 20 years of professional experience to K9 Comrades. Throughout his career, Larry has worked with a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments. He spent eight years as a trainer for the San Francisco Police Tactical K9 Unit and continues to collaborate with local law enforcement K-9 teams. Larry’s background also includes serving as an Animal Control Officer for the City and County of San Francisco, where he rose to Sergeant of Field Services and oversaw the Vicious and Dangerous Dog Hearings for the San Francisco Police Department. His expertise was featured on Animal Planet’s “Animal Cops,” highlighting his dedication to animal welfare and public safety.
